KnowledgeWorks Foundation and the Mid-continent Research for Education and Learning (McREL) have published Amplified Policymaking, a brief that examines the policy implications for two of the forecast's six drivers of change: Pattern Recognition and Amplified Organization.
The brief explores the new skills required to handle the ubiquity and transparency of data, along with the implications for using those skills to extend individual and organizational capacity. By amplifying their own skills, opening up their policymaking to a more collaborative process, and creating conditions that enable innovation, policymakers can become “superheroes” who help create a future of learning that benefits all students.
